What an amazing adventure! I've climbed some mountain for charity but I couldn't imagine braving the Atlantic in a row boat. Ridley, you've got something that most people don't and that that a lot of heart. Good luck!!

- Naeba

And I thought I was hardy. Last weekend, I participated in the 6th Annual Relay For Life NordicStyle at the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, VT. 250 participants skiied and snowshoed through the night to honor loved ones lost to cancer, celebrate survivors and support those still fighting. Over 3,000 Relays are held each year across the country, but ours is the only one held in the winter on snow. We raised $75,000 to help the research and programs of the American Cancer Society. Paul's monumental effort makes me look like a wimp! I wish him well.

- Julia Bergeron '75

Hi Bob,

We added a more direct reference to donations with a link to the website. Thanks for your suggestion, and I'm sure Paul thanks you for your contribution.

Hello Colgate,
Thanks for the info on Paul Ridley '05 on his solo trip across the Atlantic. I've made a donation to Paul's cause in the fight against cancer. I was hoping Colgate might be able to put in one or two stronger sentences on how people can donate to Row For Hope and their fight against cancer. I'm sure any info that you could put out to help another "Colgate Family/ Paul '05" member would be appreciated. Just a suggestion - Thanks. Take care, be safe, go'gate!! bob glendening ' 71

- bob glendening ' 71
