Parents:
My daughter, Annie, is on the extended study trip. Unfortunately,I do not have the flight info for the trip back to the USA. (The itinerary Annie left me shows the group leaving Entebbe on Wed., June 18 but lacks details). Does anyone else have that info?
Thanks

My daughter, Adriana Lopez '10, is part of the Uganda Extended Study group. We've had a few short emails from her. Unfortunately, the email connection at the camp is not consistent enough for the group to update the blog as they had intended.

The group did arrive all right, and after a few days in the capital of Kampala, on the 17th they had a 13-hour drive to the camp where they are now.

Yesterday I received a short "Sat Phone" call from her. The group is fine and busy with their research projects. They were tracking gorillas on Saturday. If my daughter is representative of the rest of the group, they are having a tremendous experience in Uganda.

This sounds like an incredible opportunity. This hands on approach is a very engaging style of learning.

- Jeffrey Raval, MD, FACS
