Courbee, Ajay et al,
I was struck by Courbee's jouralism studies and wanted to mention a Howard Rheingold/Andrea Severi Stamford course on the "literacy of cooperation" which I had the great luck of auditing first time around. It opened me to the power of blogs to impact national elections. The link below is the introductory lecture......

well worth listening to, imho.

If you google "literacy of cooperation" search for the original videos of speakers Kollach, Corning, Jimmy Wales, Webber, Huberman/HP/ prediction methods etc. at

they are seminal to the now considerable growth of the topic and I'm pretty sure you'll find them quite valuable.
