I have a question on Dalai for all people: The more actively Dalai talks about peace, the more violence there will be in Tibet and some other places. Why?
Choices:
1. Dalai always says the opposite of what he is going to do.
2. Dalai doesn't have enough influence on those rioters.
3. Other reasons (please specify).

I too am also hoping that the trouble in his homeland do not cancel his trip. My mother, stepfather and I are all so excited to see the Dalai Lama.

I am so excited at the possibility of seeing him. I hope events in his homeland don't interfere with this trip. I would truly wait all day just to hear him laugh.

I am interested in your futher info on the Dali Lama visit. My wife and I live in the Clinton NY area. Her parents visited the US for the first time and finally saw their daughter after 5 years. My in laws have visited the Tibetan homeland of the heritage of the Dali Lama. Their visit to the United States will be made even more special if I could facilitate their attendance at the event you mention on April 22, 2008. Plse advise at your earliest convenience how best to procur 4-5 tickets for this event.

Wow, incredible news that the Dalai Lama is coming to Hamilton! Two years ago I heard him speak in Newport, RI at Salve Regina University, where our oldest daughter was a student. He has a fine sense of humor and is an inspiring leader whose message of world peace is much needed. Be ready, though, for vast crowds. Salve had the event in a huge tent, but there wasn't enough room to accommodate all the members of the media and public hungry to see him. As soon as it leaks out he's coming, Colgate will be overwhelmed with requests for coverage. He also travels with a large number of security people.
What a terrific coup for Colgate to attract a man of his caliber--it's very exciting.
