Colgate will be installing acoustic wall and ceiling panels at Sanford Field House between April 2, 2018, and May 4, 2018. This project is directly related to presentations and ceremonies that are scheduled and upcoming to occur within the building. During this time frame, the contractor will have use of the rear half of the building from April 2–April 18, 2018. The contractor will have use of the front half of the building from April 19–May 4, 2018.
During the construction, use of the field house will be limited to the half that the contractors are not utilizing to install the panels. The center divider will be drawn to delineate the space. The contractor will be on site from 7 a.m. -4 p.m. daily. After 4 p.m., there will be access to a portion of the half under construction, but this will change on a daily basis depending on equipment and materials needed for the following day’s work.
The intent is to keep the building open and half of the turf accessible at all times. The track will be open for use, with limited lanes closed at times for overhead work to be completed. Any areas not accessible will be coned off and marked accordingly.
