The Economics has hired three new Visiting Assistant Professors of Economics beginning Fall 2013:

Professor Jeff Baldani will be returning to his position of Department Chair, effective July 2013. Jeff has just completed a two-year term as Associate Dean of Faculty. Professor Jyoti Khanna has been filling in as Department Chair for the last two years. Professor Baldani was also recently recognized as the AAUP Professor of the Year Award. Thanks to Jyoti for her two years of department leadership.
Professor Bob Turner has also completed a four-year term as the Director for the Division of Social Sciences this summer.
Professor Felicia Ionescu has accepted a position as a Research Economist with the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington DC, effective this summer. She will be in the Household and Real Estate Finance section in the Research and Statistics division. Congratulations and best of luck to Felicia and her family!
