Overview:
Starting at aproximately 5 PM on September 4th, Colgate’s portal experienced a database error which impacted performance and prevented users from accessing portal services.
Changes were made to the portal and resources were added to supporting hardware to address the error.
Impact:
This outage impacted all portal users, including faculty, staff, and students.
Time Frame:
The outage began at approximately 5:00pm. Service was restored by 10:30pm.
