By jgattuso on October 14, 2013

Overview:
Beginning at approximately 5:00 PM, tonight, Monday  October 14th 2013, Colgate’s Network administrators will be performing required maintenance on both the Campus Wireless network and Internet connection. During this maintenance window our Campus Wireless controllers will be updated to correct problems with wireless access points dropping network connections. Also beginning at 5:00pm the Campus Internet will be down to allow Time Warner, our current ISP, to make configuration changes that will allow the University to bring in a second 1Gbps Internet connection for campus use. This second 1Gbps connection, provided by Cogent Communications is expected to be in place by the end of this month. An ITS Alert will be sent out once a date has been confirmed with our secondary provider.
