Faculty to host medical superintendant of Ugandan hospital in April

Faculty members engaged in interdisciplinary science research through the Picker Interdisciplinary Science Institute will host Dr. Paul Williams on campus this April. Dr. Williams is the former medical superintendent of Bwindi Community Hospital in rural Uganda.

Frank Frey (Biology), Ellen Kraly (Geography), and Peter Scull (Geography) will host Dr. Williams, their research collaborator. During his visit, he will present his perspectives on HIV/AIDS relative to other dimensions of health vulnerabilities in Uganda, and will meet with students to discuss clinical and public health issues.
