Honors students Alexandra Kaplan, Marley Hyman, and Zoe Mishkin after completing their thesis presentations to the sociology and anthropology faculty in May 2013.
- Ally’s thesis was titled “The Sexual Socialization Model: An Analysis of Developing Sexual Scripts in Masculine Institutions.”
- Marley researched and wrote about “Deconstructing the Feedback Loop: How Legitimacy Is Redefined in the Corporate Suite.”
- Zoe’s research was titled “What the (Expletive) Happened to Women? An Analysis of ‘New Girl’ and ‘2 Broke Girls.'”
In addition, at the 2013 Senior Academic Awards Convocation, Marley received the Award for Excellence in Sociology and Anthropology while Alexandra received the Ramshaw Service Award.
