“Seven Oaks” tells the story of the Colgate University golf course
“Seven Oaks: A History of Golf at Colgate University” has been published by the Upstate Institute and the Colgate University Press, and is now available at the Colgate Bookstore. Compiled by local resident Jim Ford, “Seven Oaks” tells the story of the Colgate University golf course through newspaper articles, personal letters and notes, and information from the Colgate University Archives. With many historic photos and maps, the book presents the story of the course from 1916 to the present, and explores the history of golf in Hamilton.
