National Abolition Hall of Fame announces commemoration schedule

The National Abolition Hall of Fame and Museum will host the 2010 Commemoration Ceremony in Peterboro, New York. Events begin on Friday, October 22nd and last throughout the weekend. A full schedule of events is below.

The Upstate Institute is a sponsor of the ceremony, and has partnered with NAHOF since 2005. UI recognizes and appreciates the importance of the work being done by NAHOF to honor and recognize the legacy and influence of antislavery abolitionists, and to use these courageous individuals as exemplars of the struggle for equal rights, human rights, and the ongoing fight to end racism in our society.
