Cultural Heritage Tourism Symposium held at Colgate

The Upstate Institute and the New York Cultural Heritage Tourism Network sponsored “Bridges to the Future: Empowerment through Collaboration in Cultural Heritage Tourism” on Friday, Marcy 18th. Cheryl Hargrove, president of Hargrove International, Inc., provided a keynote discussion on the development, interpretation, management and marketing of cultural heritage tourism in New York state to an audience of almost one hundred for profit and not for profit organizations, cultural heritage attractions and historical societies. “Aging in the Community” panel discussion on March 3

The Upstate Institute will host “A Symposium on Aging in the Community” on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 4:15 pm at the Colgate Bookstore. This symposium addresses issues for older adults aging in the community, including those who are maintaining independent residences and managing at home, and those who are undergoing residential transitions.
