A group of students enrolled in the Environmental Studies 390 course at Colgate are conducting a study of the walkability of the Village of Hamilton, and invite members of the community to participate as volunteers. On Saturday, March 24th from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, the students will work with groups of volunteers, all of whom will be equipped with maps and surveys and sent to various locations throughout the village to assess sidewalks, curb cuts, crosswalks, and other physical details, and to gauge the community’s ability to walk to various places in the village.
