Integrated Advising – Open Session for Faculty, Students and Staff

By Contributing Writer on April 11, 2016

The university is considering adopting an integrated advising system that would improve communication channels between academic advisors and administrative deans, but would also guide students in getting the support they need at Colgate. An integrated advising system would also help students track their academic and extra-curricular successes.

Two integrated advising platforms have been identified that would help advisors across various offices and departments provide more timely support to our students. This session will provide a brief overview of the project goals and show the two platforms that are currently being reviewed. There will also be time to ask questions about the project and provide feedback. Faculty, students and staff are all invited and encouraged to attend.

  • Thursday April 14th from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., 207 Lathrop
  • Friday April 15th from 10:15-11:15 a.m., 101A McGregory
  • Friday April 15th from 2-3 p.m., 101A McGregory

If you are not able to attend the sessions and would like to discuss the project, please contact Nicole Simpson.
