Halloween in Hamilton 2022

Join us as we celebrate our annual village-wide Halloween in Hamilton! Enjoy a spooky weekend celebration with crafts, trick-or-treating, and a free movie! Safe fun for the whole family.

Friday, October 28, 2022

Kick off your Halloween weekend with Arts at the Palace (19 Utica St)! The Hamilton Community Players will present the War of the Worlds Radio Show in the Palace Underground on October 28th at 7:30pm. Another performance will be held on October 30th at 2pm.

Saturday, October 29, 2022

On Saturday, October 29th from 10am – 12pm, “Trunk or Treat” on Broad Street! Hosted by the Hamilton area churches, Broad Street will be closed to street traffic, and children and adults can trick-or-treat from trunk to trunk! Park United Methodist Church (17 Broad St) will also be running their annual coat giveaway which will be from 9:00am – 12pm at the Methodist church.

Monday, October 31, 2022

Park United Methodist Church (17 Broad St) will be offering free cider and doughnuts in front of the church from 3pm – 5pm. Enjoy a little snack as you move between the different activities in the village!

At 3:30pm, head over to the Hamilton Public Library (13 Broad St) for a special, spooktacular craft time! Open to kids of all ages.

Then, join the costume parade beginning at 4:30pm at the Colgate Bookstore (3 Utica St). Local businesses will hand out candy donated by the Community Memorial Hospital as the children parade through town. Special thanks to our mayor, RuthAnn Loveless, for being Parade Leader and to our volunteers who will chaperon the children safely across the downtown streets!

Starting at 5:30pm, the Hamilton Movie Theater (7 Lebanon St) will play the 2013 short, “Toy Story of Terror” (TV-G, 22 minutes) for FREE, sponsored by the Colgate Bookstore.

After the movie, head out through the village of Hamilton for a night of safe, fun trick-or-treating!
