I write to solicit your nominations for the 2016 awarding of the Colgate Alumni Corporation 1819 Award. This prestigious prize is awarded annually to the member of the senior class “whose character, scholarship and service best exemplify the spirit that is Colgate.”
All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to submit their nominations and letters of support describing those qualities of the nominee that make him or her worthy of consideration for this award at colgate.edu/awards.
The 2016 Awards Convocation will take place on Tuesday, April 26, in the chapel. In order to assure that each nominee receives the fullest consideration, please submit your nominations no later than Friday, February 12th.
