Check out this piece featured on the Colgate website where SOAN and Women’s Studies student Evan Chartier describes his research on nursing assistants. Evan spent the summer participating in a training program for nursing assistants, where he both earned his own certification and interviewed other students. Those interviews form the basis for his SOAN senior seminar project this semester.

Professor Benson’s Fall 2013 Sociology of Education class did an outstanding job leading a Women’s Studies Brown Bag on their semester-long research investigating equity in higher education.  If you missed their presentation, you can check out the video here.
