Earlier this semester, SOAN Professor Rhonda Levine was honored with Colgate’s Balmuth Award for Distinguished Teaching. The award, named for legendary Colgate philosophy professor, Jerry Balmuth, is awarded annually to recognize especially distinguished careers in the classroom. Professor Levine was SOAN’s second honoree, as Professor Tony Aveni also won the award in 2012.
